— Kent County's Continuum of Care

A Coordinated Response to Homelessness in Kent County

The Kent Homelessness Coalition brings together the people, funding, and data behind Kent County’s homelessness response. We do not run shelters or deliver services ourselves. Instead, we coordinate and align the entities that do.

We believe that homelessness ends when systems align.

KHC is the Backbone of Kent County's Homelessness Response

A rich network of organizations, agencies, municipalities, and individuals work every day to prevent and end homelessness in Kent County. The Kent Homelessness Coalition is the entity that coordinates them.

As the federally designated Continuum of Care for Grand Rapids, Wyoming, and Kent County, we align the strategy, manage the federal funding, maintain the data, and set the standards that help dozens of independent organizations in West Michigan operate as one coordinated system.
